Try the Online Demo

The best way to determine if the CGI Download Manager is right for you, is to try it out for yourself. So, we've placed a demonstration version online for you to try. The demo is the full version of the CGI Download Manager script with a sample file database already in place.

The demo will allow you to try all of the features and functions in the script through the web based Admin Interface. (A complete listing of the features and functions available is listed on the features summary.)

Take the time to explore the Admin Interface. All of the features of CGI Download Manager are integrated into this Interface. Every function has a brief set of instructions included so you can get up to speed on using the Admin Interface quickly. Be sure to Generate Files at least once so you can see the changes that you make to the Download Directory.

Demo Download Directory

The CGI Download Manager Admin Interface allows you to manage your master file database. Once you have completed making your changes, you can regenerate the Download Directory using the "Generate Files" button in the Admin Interface.

Once you Generate Files your Download Directory will be recreated based on the latest data in the master file database. If you didn't already, take a look at the Download Directory that was created by the Online Demo:

This is just an example of how your Download Directory would look. You can easily customize the look and feel of the files pages using a simple template file. The template file used in the demo matches our site, but you can easily customize the template for your Download Directory so that it matches the appearance of your web site.
